Pastor Sara Wirth has been serving with us since July. Pastor Sara grew up in Pierre, South Dakota and received her BA in Elementary Education from Augustana College in Sioux Falls. Prior to attending Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN, she was a camp counselor and program director, spending a year in India with Lutheran Youth Encounter doing relational youth ministry. After her 2001 ordination, she was called to Northridge Lutheran Church in Kalispell, MT as their Associate Pastor and then in 2004 accepted a similar call with St. Phillip Lutheran in Littleton. In 2011, she accepted a call with Mount Calvary in Boulder to serve as their Pastor. Now she is focused on helping churches in transition by serving in Intentional Interim ministry, training other pastors to serve in this most important interim capacity, as well as serving as a leader in the Rocky Mountain Synod’s Excellence in Leadership Academy.
