COVID PROTOCOL

We realize we have students coming from a variety of school districts and educational settings, so we want to make sure we are all on the same page in regards to Covid protocol. These expectations were determined in accordance with ELC’s Covid Task Force and the Jefferson County Public Schools. As always, they are subject to change, and we will communicate any changes via phone call and/or email.

+Masks are required indoors, regardless of age or vaccination status. Masks are not required outdoors.

+We will have class outside as much as possible. When inside, we will meet in large rooms to allow for extra space and ventilation. We will arrange tables and chairs to allow for 6 feet between individuals.

+If your child is experiencing symptoms of Covid or any other illness, please stay home from class and inform your student’s teacher.

+If your child tests positive for Covid, please stay home from class and inform your student’s teacher. Follow current quarantine guidelines. As of this writing, quarantine is a minimum of 10 days, fever free for 24 hours, and other symptoms have subsided.

+If your child has to quarantine due to exposure at school or elsewhere, please stay home from class for the entirety of their quarantine.
